All food from the community garden is donated to our local food pantry.
Some of our gardens even have a kids gardening section!

The Hamilton County Cooperative Extension loves to support our community gardens! Hamilton County has community gardens in Indian Lake, Raquet Lake, Wells, Lake Pleasant/Speculator, and Piseco, located right behind our office. If you want to visit a garden, or if you are interested in starting your own garden for yourself or your community, please contact us at 518-548-6191 or email us at hamilton@cornell.edu. We can locate a garden in your area, provide online resources, and give you the information you need.
